February 2009, pencil, model : Frank. A serie of sketches. Now and then I try to use more light and dark. I'm model drawing for the second year now and I notice more and more that the main subject in a drawing is not the model but the line. I found the search for the correct line the most exiting work whilst drawing. So when I have a little time left during a sketching session I force myself to shadow my drawing.
