July 2010. Terrible news arrived. One of my co-students died last week during a holiday in France. A heart attack, only 52 years old. Still can't believe this. It seems so unreal that Johan won't appear in our classroom anymore.
He was one of the guys I had great talks with about drawing, art and life in general.
I will never forget our talk during a three hours busdrive to Cologne in Germany to visit some musea overthere. Great guy.
My thoughts are with you and your family Johan. Model class will never be the same without you.

Why a online archive ? Well, simply, the boxes with sketches, drawing and paintings are filling up my hobbyroom. One of these days I'll move the whole bunch to the attic. But...not before I put my babies on the net, so I can see them quickly when I want to. :-)
At school, September 2007, we started model drawing. In the archive you'll find work from previous years to.
After a few years we should see some evolution in the drawings. :-)
